bro's not home, shouldn't be home for the next few hours. they had come in together, had something to eat, ishimaru had been talking about some... thing with equations or formulas or some kind of science shit he was currently studying and whatever, he passed his test, so oowada just blanked out on the rest. he does that a lot whenever ishimaru talks about school or cram and especially when he starts in on the mondo don't you want to better society and become an upstanding citizen who separates their trash on time and what the fuck, kiyotaka but whatever.

he's used to it. in fact, he'd be lying if he said he didn't like it sometimes. he's got his own man's path to follow and if ishimaru has stricter rules, that's his business. oowada has enough to deal with his gang and keeping his bike fixed up.

normally they'd go for a ride together, it had become a thing to do when they were alone and oowada wanted to share the wind whipping through their hair and the world zooming by them.

today though. they're in his room. they're sitting on his bed.

[It occurs to Ishimaru that he doesn't actually know what time Daiya is due home, but he doesn't think it's important enough to warrant asking about. Right now all he wants to do is stay like this, because as soon as he stands up to get dressed he's going to have to put his uniform back on and be the perfect student again. The kind of student who heads straight home and studies until bedtime.

There's nothing wrong with that, of course; he's not dissatisfied with his life. In fact, he can only think of one complaint, and it's that there isn't ever any time for moments like this.

He sighs and closes his eyes. For now, he'll just stay here, warm and content, because he doesn't know how long it will be until he finds the time for it again.]

[oowada knows when daiya is coming home but he's not saying anything until he has to. he'd much rather lay here like this, sweaty and naked and gross, pressed along the sweet lines of ishimaru's body. lines and bare hints of curves he's become familiar with, a sort of body he didn't think he ever would but then he met ishimaru and his definition of a man grew, expanded. to allow him these quiet moments, letting him drink in the sight of pink, marked skin.

the marks are mostly for fun, to see how loud he can make ishimaru, to see if he'll punch him (again), and for that small insecure part of himself, a reminder of oowada. he doesn't get to see ishimaru as much as he would like, not when they're so busy and their time together seem like stolen moments more than anything else. it's worth it though, no matter if they spend the time arguing, on his bike, or out grabbing a bite. if anything, that small insecure part grows everyday when he thinks about the future, about after graduation. he's young but, the gang won't be forever - daiya and him discuss this too much nowadays.

he knows though, even if he's not very smart and he'll have to work everyday wearing his hands and feet to the bone, he'd like ishimaru to be forever. if ishimaru, the honor student who isn't afraid to fight him on bullshit, will want someone like him for that long.

he curls a little closer, holding the other boy tighter.]

[As soon as he's done wincing in pain, Ishimaru laughs. He knows if he bites Oowada again he is going to start a war, and the marks it would leave would be very difficult to explain, so he leaves it at that.

Ishimaru has never bitten anyone, let alone Oowada, because he's never, ever had a reason to. And until just a few moments ago, until he got this idea, as far as he was concerned there wasn't ever a good reason to bite someone.

He thinks this is an exception, though.]
