PREPARE FOR FEELS;
...the hell am I?
[he's... dead, right? so. what gives. he knows he died. it's. what he deserved. they found him out after all. he's dead. not that he knows exactly what happens after you die but this, this isn't what he was expecting. he's walking through a cloudy grey fog, footsteps too loud on the ground beneath him.
a part of him expects to find something, a sign that tells him where he is or where to go.
he can't explain it but it feels like he's waiting for something, maybe someone.
his eyes flicker shut for a moment.
in his heart he knows it isn't daiya.
daiya would never go to hell.]

CRYING THAT POST TITLE WHY!!!!!
Maybe things would be better for everyone else now that there were fewer people left. It would surely be more difficult for potential murderers to make a move, and he was certain the correct culprit would be nailed for his crime. Yamada Hifumi...Ishimaru had only been able to see him for a second before feeling something crashing down onto the back of his head, but there was no doubt it was him.
He puts his hands on his head for the umpteenth time, almost instinctively, but of course, any trace of his fatal wound has vanished.
At first, he'd thought perhaps everything leading to his death had been some kind of lucid dream, but the longer he stood in solitude and silence, the more difficult it was to believe something as convenient as that. No place as desolate as here existed in the plane of the living, so as illogical as it seems, he must be dead after all.
So, hesitantly, Ishimaru chooses a direction at random and starts walking. Though he no longer has anywhere to go or a reason to go there, his posture is no different than what it was in life - purposeful, strong, solid. It's the single comfort he knows how to give himself.
He almost misses the faint silhouette of someone else amidst the heavy fog, and even when he does notice it he almost ignores it. If he's dead, then it can't be anything important, right?
...On the other hand, since he's dead, he doesn't really have anything to lose. Even if it's just some fanciful hallucination, it might be a little better than being completely alone, so he decides to head toward it.]
